Red Rocks Country Club benefit raises over $60,000 for Flight For Life

Morrison, Colorado (KDVR) – Red Rocks Country Club has hosted a big event for money raising for the Organization for Life.

On Friday night, RRCC cooperated with PROPARK and St. Anthony Health Foundation, along with a series of donors, to raise more than $ 60,000.

Jay Winstein, one of the event organizers, told us that FFL started in 1972 with the idea that a country like Colorado, with vast terrain and remote areas, may need support. Since 1972, FFL has transported more than 200,000 patients here in Colorado and four other states.

Winstein said this is the third annual event, noting that when they started collecting donations, they raised $ 8,000, which exceeded this year more than $ 60,000.

Through a series of donors, some of whom are unknown and other audiences, they donated $ 30,000. From there, those present were asked to benefit enough to match the amount to FFL. The donations were collected by the Saint Anthony Health Foundation.

During this event, the FFL and Denver Police Control Monitoring helicopter fell for families to enjoy. The Denver Swat and Rocco police vehicle was the bomb inhaling the dog in this event.

There was also a free fee with three elements of families to win, including:

  • Four tickets for golf at Sanctury Golf during the FFL GOLF Classic on September 15 and 16
  • Sunrise flight to two people in FFL helicopter
  • Football signed by Denver Bronko Gortrobe Bo Nix.

Red Rocks Country Club plans to host this event again next year and has more information about Website.
