Rangers: Man's body, believed to be that of missing Nebraskan, recovered from RMNP

KDVR – The man’s body was recovered on Wednesday from the Rocky Mountain National Park, and Rangers said they believed to be a man who was reported to be lost earlier this week.

The American forest service reported that on Wednesday, a corpse believed to be the body of Blake Kekevar, 23, from Omaha, Nebraska, over the emerald lake.

Kieckhafer was reported by Rangers in the park on Monday, August 11, by his family. He was seen last time in the Abver Midoz area in the park on Thursday, August 7, at approximately 5:20 pm after it was dropped by the Rideshare service.

The investigation of the missing man focused on research efforts in the Lake Zumda area on Wednesday. Rangers reported that more than 80 people were involved in the search and participated in the search and rescue teams in Laimer Province, and Arabaho to rescue a patrol and a helicopter contracted with Trisk Aero.

Rangers completed an investigation on the site and regained the body that is believed to be Kieckhafer via helicopters. His body was transferred to a landing area in the Rocky Mountain National Park and transferred to the Laimer County Office, according to American forest service.

The identity of the body will be confirmed by the Laimer County Office, as well as any additional information about this issue.
