Public asked for help finding driver in fatal hit-and-run crash on Interstate 25 Saturday morning

Denver (KDVR)-The Denver Police Department requests to help the public in identifying a driver involved in a deadly collision at 7:02 am on Saturday on the southern highway 25, north of West Olaaida Street exit.

DPD said that the driver of what was described as the black Toyota 4Runner was driving in the right corridor of I-25 Southbound when they hit one of the infantry who was changing a flat frame on the right shoulder.

The victim suffered a deadly injury, while the suspected car suffered severe damage to the front passengers, according to DPD.

DPD said the driver escaped to the scene without stopping or leaving his information. Anyone who has information to call the Denver Metro Crime Crime is encouraged on the phone on 720-913-7867 or connected.
