Popular SF Mission District rooftop bar to reopen with new name, cuisine

San Francisco (CrohnFor years, El Techo was one of the most popular surface bars in San Francisco. Before modern bars on the surface such as Cavaña and Kaiyō, El Techo was the place to drink a cocktail with a view of San Francisco.

EL Techo officially closed in April 12 years after the city’s surface destinations. However, the good news of El Techo’s fans, the institution will not completely disappear. It passes through the brand redesign.

Cubita will take over the space at 2516 Mission St. The Rooftop Bar at the top of the Argentine Lolinda Restaurant. Cubita opens on Friday, June 6 at 4 pm

Cubita is currently taking Reservations Early on Saturday, June 7. The operating hours are currently inserted as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: from 4 pm to 10 pm

  • Sunday: from 11 am to 10 pm

With the support of the House Group Restaurant Collection, Cubita is still under the same property as El Techo. The back of the house also owns other SAPER Duper Burger, beretta, Dearosa and Lolinda.
