KDVR – Aurora Police said that it had found thousands of fentanel pills when they collected a vehicle with a temporary mark from a teenage driver who had no license or evidence of insurance.
The Aurora Police Department said that the officers saw a car with “suspicious plates” and withdrew the driver on February 27 at approximately 11:30 am, the police decided that temporary signs on the car had been recorded in another vehicle and were stolen.
The administration said that the 17 -year -old driver was driving his car without a license and had no evidence of insurance.
The city has a three -strike base that requires police officers to prevent a vehicle if the driver is not able to produce a valid driver’s license and prove insurance and registration. The teenager was detained and the car was held.
The police department posted a video of the traffic station in which an officer could hear, saying that the driver claimed that the car belongs to his brother and had no keys. The officer also said that he claimed that he had an identity card, but he did not have him.
The administration said that the officers were also required to strip the vehicles before they are withdrawn. When searching for the car, the police found a kilogram of fentanel beans hidden under the driver’s seat.
The administration wrote in A “in about 10 pills to gram, which is equivalent to about 10,000 tablets.” Posted on Facebook.
Arara Police Department spokesman told Fox31 that the driver is accused of:
- Obtaining a controlled substance, fentanel, from 50 grams or more, with the intention of distributing a category 1 category felony
- False police reports, Category 2 misdemeanor
- Driving on a fake panel, a 2 -category traffic crime
- Not providing evidence of insurance, category 1 traffic crime
- Driving without a license, category a traffic violation
The police video also showed the money and bullets in the car.
