Police: 33-year-old man dies after shooting involving officers in New Braunfels

ASAN-A 33-year-old man died in Texas after a disruption escalated to shooting police officers in New Bronvils on Saturday, according to a journalist in New Brunvils.

Two officers in the new Braunfels Police Administration responded to a report on this disorder between a man and a woman around 4:15 pm in Sage apartments, which is located in the 2 2500 mass of West San Antonio Street, according to the city.

During the response, the man “canceled a sharp weapon and began directing the officers, prompting them to launch the service weapons issued by their administration, and hit the suspect.”

The city said: “The additional response officers attempted to save life on the suspect and paramedics from the new Bronvils Fire Department that took over these efforts.”

The man “surrendered to his injuries” and announced his death at the scene. It was not identified by the police on Saturday, because they need to notify the relatives.

No other police officers or civilians were injured, according to the city.

The two officers participating in the shooting were placed on an administrative vacation during the investigation, for each standard protocol by New Braunfels PD.

The shooting remained under investigation by the police and Tixas Rangers, according to the city. Other details were not available on Saturday.
