Poland vs. Switzerland Head-to-Head

The two sides have had one prior encounter at the United Cup which came in 2023, with Poland winning 3-2. Świątek and Hurkacz both registered straight-set wins over Bencic and Wawrinka in that tie.

Poland vs. Switzerland Prediction

Poland suffered final heartbreaks at the United Cup in the last two editions but this time, it does look like third time’s the charm. The Poles have a better singles lineup than the Swiss on paper but the latter should still not be written off.

Świątek and Bencic will lock horns in the women’s singles fixture and the Pole will be heavily favored to come out on top as she has a 6-1 head-to-head against the Swiss and dropped only two games against her in their last encounter that came in the Wimbledon semifinals.

Next up, will be Hurkacz vs Wawrinka, a fixture that will take place for the first time since the 2023 United Cup. The World No. 83 has had a promising return to tennis after his injury issues and he will be expected to beat Wawrinka, although it won’t be easy as the former World No. 3 has produced some resilient displays of tennis over the past few days.

Poland’s singles stars should manage to see them through and seal that United Cup win that has been eluding them for quite some time now.
