Trevor Lawrence Caught Picking His Nose on the Sidelines

While the Jaguars signal-caller has struggled with interceptions this season, throwing five through the first five weeks, that wasn’t the pick that had fans erupting on social media.

With the game on the line and in crunch time, the broadcast caught Lawrence on Jacksonville’s sideline with his finger digging away in his nose. What started as an itch became an excavation as the fifth-year quarterback attempted to clear his nostrils.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had Jaguars LB Devin Lloyd take a pass back 99 yards for a defensive touchdown, but he was not alone as Warren Sharp posted the video of Lawrence on X, saying, “Trevor Lawrence pick six.”

Another fan responded to a different post of the video, saying, “Your QB can’t be doing this during crunch time,” as Lawrence and Jacksonville were trying to take down the Chiefs in primetime. The Jaguars quarterback got the last laugh with the 31-28 victory.

This fan joked about the plethora of interceptions and his embarrassing sideline moment, pointing out that the Jaguars’ signal-caller has “Picks on and off the field.”

This Chiefs fan thought the video was a bad sign for Jacksonville, saying, “Jaguars QB diggin’ for gold on national television. You hate to see it.” He would end up being the one who hated to see the ending, as Mahomes and the Chiefs couldn’t find a way to tie or win the game after Lawrence’s late touchdown.

Finally, this fan thought the video was a surefire sign that he wasn’t ready for the big time, posting, “Trevor Lawrence just had a close-up angle of him picking his nose. Lawrence was never built for the big time.” But he would have to walk that comment back shortly after, explaining, “Wow, I’m sorry @trevorlawrence you’re a top 10 QB in my eyes after that run.”

While Lawrence threw another interception in Week 5, he and the Jaguars won the game over the Chiefs, moving Jacksonville to 4-1.

There’s plenty to clean up in Jacksonville, but this is still a huge win, no matter if the franchise quarterback had an embarrassing sideline moment.
