Stefanos Tsitsipas Fondly Reminisces About His and Girlfriend Paula Badosa’s Iceland Trip From Last Year

Known for his passion for photography, Tsitsipas took to social media to share a collection of stunning images from their romantic holiday in Iceland. In one of his posts, he fondly recalled their journey through the breathtaking, snow-covered landscapes of the “north of Iceland ” and their whale-watching experience aboard a “small boat.”

“We traveled to the north of Iceland, to a place where winter feels wild and endless. The wind was sharp, and everything around us was covered in snow. Paula and I stepped onto a small boat, ready for whale watching,” Tsitsipas captioned his Instagram story.

The former World No. 3 noted how Badosa was captivated by Iceland’s beauty during their boat ride.

“The cold bit at our faces, but the sea was calm, open, and full of quiet mystery. As we sailed further out, surrounded by nothing but icy ocean and sky, Paula stood at the edge of the boat, completely mesmerized. It was one of those moments where time slows down. Just water, wind, and wonder,” he continued.

Tsitsipas mentioned that this trip was not merely a vacation for them; it was a special experience that felt like a “secret” that the island shared only with them.

“Later, we curled up at the bottom of the boat and drifted into a nap. No sound but the soft movement of the waves. Lost in the middle of the sea, wrapped in winter and each other. It wasn’t just a trip. It felt like a secret the island shared only with us,” Tsitsipas added.
