Pittsburgh Pirates pitching phenom Paul Skenes has been in a loving relationship with Olivia Dunne for more than two years now. The former LSU Tigers athletes have become a power couple at just 23 years of age. While Skenes is currently dominating with his starts in the big leagues, Livvy has shifted base to New York City, where she is pursuing a graduate course and expanding her name and face value even further.
Dunne was part of the LSU Tigers gymnastics team for five years, from 2020 to 2025, and during this tenure was also part of the squad that won the NCAA championships in 2024. Like her, Skenes too brought glory to LSU as he helped the Tigers baseball team win the 2023 College World Series, soon after which he was drafted by the Pirates as the No. 1 overall pick in the MLB draft and was given a $9.2 million signing bonus.
Olivia Dunne Unwinds in Windy City With Fellow Pirates’ Wives and Girlfriends
Dunne spectated Skenes’ start in game 2 against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, after which she went out to explore the windy city alongside fellow wives and girlfriends of Pirates ballplayers. Dunne shared three images on her Instagram story that showcased the girls enjoying a ride on a boat and shopping at exclusive showrooms in Chicago.
The former LSU gymnast also shared a selfie that showcased her outfit of the day.
Besides the fun day out with her friends in Chicago, Dunne also shared a video snippet of Skenes striking out a batter in his latest start at Wrigley Field. Dunne had a great vantage point of the game as she erupted with joy on watching the strikeout.

Skenes finished the game by giving up no runs on four hits, walking two, and striking out five batters in five innings pitched as the Pirates won the contest 2-1 to level the four-game series at one game apiece. Skenes registered a no result in the game as the win went to Pirates relief pitcher Dennis Santana.
Paul Skenes Will Make His Next Start on June 19
Skenes is still 4-6 for the season, with a 1.78 ERA, 97 strikeouts, and a 0.85 WHIP in 16 starts. He has been winless in his last four starts this campaign and will be hoping to turn back the tide in his favor in the next outing.
Skenes’s next start is scheduled for June 19, when he will be up against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. This will be his maiden start against the Tigers this season and the fourth against an American League team. Expect the 2024 NL ROY to make life difficult for an in-form Tigers unit next Thursday.
