Paul Skenes‘ girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, is a famous internet personality who commands over 15 million followers across three social media platforms. Besides her prominence on social media, she is a former gymnast with the LSU Tigers and competed in NCAA championships with the program multiple times over her five-year tenure, which ended in Apr.
The former highest-earning student athlete is now living in New York City, where she is enrolled in a graduate course after previously completing her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary skills from LSU in December 2024. While she keeps making headwinds in her life, she also takes time out for loved ones, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates ace, with whom she has traveled to Chicago.
Olivia Dunne Goes Full Glam in Chicago as Paul Skenes Prepares for His Next Start
Soon after finishing their three-game series against the Miami Marlins at PNC Park, the Pirates hit the road and traveled to Chicago to kick off a four-game series against the Chicago Cubs starting Thursday. Dunne also traveled to the Windy City, as she plans to attend game 2 at Wrigley Field to cheer for Skenes.
On Wednesday, Livvy shared a selfie image from her hotel room, in which she could be seen rocking an elegant black dress with a YSL handbag and the Chicago high-rise in the background.
While Dunne aims to venture into the city and see some iconic places therein, her main focus will be to spectate game 2 of the four-game series in which Skenes will be making the 15th start of his 2025 MLB campaign. This will be Skenes’s second start against the Cubs this season. He had registered a loss against the Cubs in his first start by giving up three runs on five hits in five innings pitched at PNC Park.
Skenes Will be Aiming to Better His 4-6 Record in Friday’s Start Against the Cubs
Skenes is currently 4-6 for the campaign with an ERA of 1.88, a 0.84 WHIP, and 92 strikeouts in 91 innings pitched. He has been dominant on the mound and has largely continued the positive momentum from his rookie season into 2025. Last year, he won the NL ROY award, finished third in Cy Young voting, was named to the All-MLB First Team, and even started the Midsummer Classic for the NL All-Stars in his maiden appearance.

Despite the six losses, he has largely remained unhittable and is also currently leading the charts in NL Cy Young polls. Skenes continues to confuse the batters with his pitching variability and amazing strike-throwing abilities. He is 1-2 in his last five starts of the campaign and will be aiming to secure a much-needed win in his next big league start against the Cubs on Friday.
