(AP) – Officials said the former American soldier suspected of killing four people in the Montana bar was still early on Sunday and may be armed after escaping in a stolen vehicle containing camping clothes and equipment.
The 45 -year -old authorities Michael Paul Brown believe Four people were killed On Friday morning in the owl bar in Ankona, Montana, about 75 miles southeast of Missula in the mountainic wicked valley.
The Public Prosecutor of Montana Austin Knodsen said at a press conference on Sunday that Brown had committed fire with a gun believed to enforce his personal weapon.
The victims ranged at the age of 59 to 74 and were waiters and three male shepherds.
Knudsen has warned the population in a town slightly more than 9,000 people that Brown, who lived next to the tape where he was regular, could return to the area.
“This is an unstable person who has entered and killed four people in cold blood without any reason at all. So there is completely concern for the public,” said Kanodsen.
Several public events were canceled during the weekend with the search for its third day, according to local Facebook pages.
Robert White, 70, said he was a neighbors with David Allen Lich, a 70 -year -old, one of the three shepherds of the bar who were killed on Friday morning.
The two men lived next to each other in a general housing complex for the elderly and people with disabilities.
“Everyone is nervous” since Friday, White said. White said that Litch was deaf and mostly kept himself, and Litch only remembers a family visit almost a year ago. But Litch was always happy to help his neighbors with businesses such as moving furniture.
“If you need help, Dave will help,” said White. “It was a good neighbor.”
The Prosecutor said that investigators are thinking about all possible options for the place of Brown. This includes the search for the forest, where Brown was hunting and cloud while he was a child. But Knudsen pointed out that during the tourist peak season in West Montana, some law enforcement officials will have to return to their local judicial states of their usual responsibilities.
The army spokesman, Lieutenant, said that Brown served in the army as a shield from 2001 to 2005 and was published in Iraq from early 2004 to March 2005. Castro said Brown was in the National Guard in Montana from 2006 to March 2009, and left military service in the rank of sergeant.
Brown’s niece, Claire Boyle, told AP that her uncle had fought with a mental illness for years and she and other family members have repeatedly expanded.
“This is not just a drunk/drunk man,” she said in a Facebook message. “He is a sick man who does not know who is sometimes and does not know often where or when it is.”
Knodsen said on Sunday that Brown was known for local law enforcement before the shooting. He was widely believed that he knew at least some victims, given how close he was to the bar.
The law application issued a picture of Bruun from the monitoring clips taken shortly after the deadly fire operations. He seemed barefoot and minimal clothes.
But law enforcement now believes that Brown gets rid of the car he escaped and stolen from camping equipment, shoes and clothes in it – leaving the possibility that Brown is now wearing.
Knodson said that the last time he witnessed the application of the law was that Brown be on Friday afternoon, but there was “some confusion” because there were many white vehicles concerned.
There is a $ 7500 reward for any information that causes Brown.
“This is still Montana. Montanan knows how to take care of themselves. But please, if you have any scenes, call the number 911,” said Kenodsen.
