((HillOBAMAS cooperates with Larry David to produce a six-episode comedy chain on HBO On the occasion of the 250 anniversary of the countryWarner Bros. Discovery Thursday announced.
The Limited Unitled series will focus on American history and will be produced by David, Jeff Shaveler And the upper landMedia Company founded by former President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
David and Shafir – who previously worked on “Senefield” and “Suppstit your enthusiasm” – will cooperate again as a book for the limited series. The series will lead to the David star and will be directed by Shafir.
Warner Pruss Discovery press statement – Obama – who was chosen for executives in this series – said “they wanted to honor the American 250 anniversary and celebrate the unique history of our nation on this special occasion … but then called Larry David.”
“I sat through the table from some of the most difficult world leaders and wrestled with some of the most stable problems,” former President Obama said in a statement.
“I was no longer to work with Larry David,” he added.
Chefir described the historical characters depicted by David in the series as unconventional.
“The characters that Larry plays did not change history,” Shafir said. “In fact, they were largely ignored with history. This is a good thing.”
The series is expected to return the members of your “Curb” team from the HBO show, which ended last spring after 12 inconvenient seasons, as well as some “guest stars worthy of observation”.
