Oakland police seize 27 guns in less than a week

(Krona) – The administration announced on Friday that the Oakland Police Department seized 27 rifles and had multiple criminal crimes due to serious crimes in less than a week.

On Sunday, Auckland was arrested regarding the armed theft 2024, according to the Oakland Police Administration. On the same day, another Oakland man was arrested for a robbery and an attack that occurred in May.

On Monday, OPD was arrested by Auckland man for an alleged robbery in a company on 4100 blocs of Redwood Road. Also on Monday, OPD was arrested by a man for possession of an offensive rifle while a traffic stop. The officers began searching for his home in Auckland, where they seized two other rifles and arrested another suspect on multiple shooting orders.

On Tuesday, another man has been arrested regarding the armed theft of a company on 4,100 blocs of Redwood Road. Another man was arrested due to an alleged robbery that occurred in July 2024.

On Wednesday, OPD arrested a man who was required to shoot at the 900th block of 39 Street in May. The officers seized a gun during the arrest.

On Thursday, OPD arrested two men for the alleged shooting that occurred in the 500th mass of street on July 30. Two rifles were seized while they were arrested.

Also on Thursday, patrol officers responded to a report on a robbery in the 1500th Bloc of 92 Street, “said OPD. “The officers arrested three suspects, two adults and had happened, for theft. A firearm was restored with the stolen elements.”

The suspects in these cases face all criminal charges. OPD said the arrests “reflect the tireless efforts of women and men at the Oakland Police Department, who continue to work around the clock to maintain the pain of our neighborhoods.”
