Northglenn, Colorado (KDVR) – More than 70 animals were rescued inside the Northglenn house on Thursday in the 1900 building of East 116th Drive near Wyco Park.
Two animals, a dog and a cat, dead inside. This was a two -day process, as the neighbors alerted the police on cases.
Fox31 of the police learned that there are still animals inside the house that the crews say they had a problem in hunting because they were very volatile. When the investigation concludes, the police believe that the number of animals that have been rescued will grow.
One by one, the officers assigned suits and masks, and they removed dozens, cats and dogs, and spent hours in the area.
The police shared these photos from inside the show of what they call “unwanted and unwanted conditions.”
Because of the huge number of animals at home, they asked for help from neighboring animal care and law enforcement agencies.
“I was shocked, I was not suspected,” said Jar Wes Stambo.
Many neighbors shared the same feelings that were.
“When I learned this for the first time, I was completely shocked, like three to four years, we used to walk on our dog when we had one before it passed. We were walking in the dogs in the past there and it was like two or three dogs barking us. It was a fence associated with the chain at that time.” When my wife told me the activity there, I felt completely shocked. I thought she had heard 14 animals. We did not know. We never believed that there were 14 animals, not to mention more. “
Cats in the boxes can be seen on the corridor outside the house this afternoon. The police said the criminal charges were issued to the owner of the house on Thursday.
“I feel bad about people because at this point, in my opinion, it is like a disease,” said Stambo. “I mean, they do not understand that they no longer care or love animals.”
Stambo says he does not know the people who live there, but he says they lived at home for decades. When the news broke out about the severity of this situation, he left it, along with other neighbors, with questions about how the problem is out of control.
“I think it reaches a point where people do not understand that you are bypassing love and caring for animals at that point,” he said.
Police says that all living animals are transported to the area shelters for medical assessments and temporary care. The home owner’s fees were not launched. Since this is an ongoing investigation, investigators are still holding all charges.
Fox31 learned that the home owner had been called a summons and since then he was released. Fox31 arrived at the owner of the house but did not hear again.
