Los Angeles police investigated after a Hollywood house owner claimed that he had faced a thief and then shot him in his chest.
The officers responded to a residential complex in the 12800 block from Oxenard Street at about 10 am on Friday, after reports of the shooting.
There, they called the resident of an apartment that the police told that he heard voices coming from his kitchen. The owner of the house said that he went to see what was responsible for the voice when he discovered a man trying to storm a window.
The tenant told the police that he warned the thief that he was at home and that he was armed with himself if he did not leave.
At some point, the owner of the house regained the rifle and shot the suspect, and the police told that he hit the man once in his chest.

But when the officers investigated the scene, they did not find any evidence of a gunshot wound and the police dog could not locate any blood path.
However, the owner of the house insisted on injuring the thief.
At this time, the Los Angeles Police Department is achieving the matter as a robbery and fire. The owner of the suspected house described a Spanish man wearing a black mask and a black jacket.
No arrests and investigation have been made.
