Nicaraguan man charged with assaulting ICE officer in San Jose

(Kron) – A man from Nicaragua was accused of assaulting a deportation officer with the enforcement of American immigration and customs (ICE) at a facility in San Jose. The US Department of Justice, a criminal complaint, said Francisco de Jesus Morales, 25, from Nicaragua, attacked the officer at a snow facility on May 2.

The accident occurred when the officer who was attacked and two others tried to take Morales to reserve, according to a memorandum to remove and deport him from the United States. Morales, according to the Ministry of Justice, physically resisted the arrest and tried to escape from the officers.

This has led to conflict and injuries to Moralis and the officers. All three officers, along with Morales, received a treatment for the injuries they suffered during the quarrel.
