San Francisco (KON) – A woman from East Bay recently said her husband had been assigned by hand and ignored by immigration and customs enforcement agents (ICE) moments after attending the asylum session in the Immigration Court in San Francisco.
Shailin and her husband, Anilo, went to the court together on May 23.
“This is what happened,” she added.
According to Anilo, Anilo reached the United States in early 2024 in search of asylum from Colombia. Shailin said he had no criminal history in the United States or his country of origin, and moved to the United States in search of a better life.
The wife wrote: “My husband attended all his checks and asylum sessions as required under the law.
Ice officers are allegedly waiting in the hallway outside the courtroom.
“As soon as we got out of the courtroom, before we could talk about anything that happened, we separated by ice. While I was quoted around the corner, I heard the handcuffs.”

It is claimed that ICE officers told the wife that “the circumstances have changed”, but they did not explain more information explaining the reason for the detention of Ilo ..
Shailin said that the officers took her husband to the immigration detention center, which was five hours drive. “My husband is treated like a criminal,” she wrote. The wife is raising Donations To employ immigration lawyers for the Anilo case.
Officials of the Ministry of Internal Security are intensifying enforcement measures against people who seek asylum in federal immigration courts at the country level. Witnesses and preachers said that ice officers were detained by ice officers at the Immigration Court in San Francisco in May.
On Tuesday, ICE agents were seen operating in southern San Jose along Snell Street and Blossom Hill Road.
An Ice Kron4 spokesman said that people had been arrested. The spokesman said, “They were arrested by final orders to remove the immigration judge and did not comply with this,” the spokesman said.

“While we do not have details about the process … I will repeat my invitation to the federal government to focus on serious criminals and violence, not the people who contribute to our society,” said the mayor of San Jose Matt Mahan.
A former Ministry of Internal Security spokeswoman KRON4 told, “Most of the foreigners who have entered the United States illegally over the past two years are subject to rapid removal. ICE is now following the law and putting these illegal foreigners in expedited removal, as they should have always been.”
ICE contains a file “Self -Deporter” section Migrants warn without legal status to leave the United States before their arrest by federal immigration officers and transfer them to detention centers.
