How Fans Reacted To The News
@BrucePurnell113: “Waive and stretch him and go get Kevin Love on a buyout. Jaxson has proved to be a serviceable backup. Reward him with the minutes. Get your depth in a vet like Love who showed he’s still got something in the tank during preseason”
@AlexCanaan23: “11 million for 0 minutes in regular season (ankle), for 5 minutes in playoff (quad), 10 in preseason (oblique). And LAL fans complained about AD… you can’t make this up.”
@CyrilOgoula: “So he was trolling the fanbase when he went viral with those workout videos”
@Patrick___29: “Wouldn’t be a Laker season without having injuries”
@CL830_Lakers: “Just waive and stretch so we can at least sign a vet min who can be productive. Smh. JJ only loves shotting and offense. All his thinking is coming from there. In an elimination game he still preferred Maxi who hasn’t played forever over Jax.”
@LeeJ09: “This is NOT a surprise having followed him at the mavs🫤😆”
@GunElite: “The new Kendrick Nunn”
@JWeinbachNBA: “The Lakers cannot trust Maxi Kleber to stay healthy throughout the season. If the Lakers were to become real contenders this season, the front office should be shopping Kleber’s $11M expiring salary in various trade packages to seek rotational upgrades.”
Following their showdown with Steph Curry and the Warriors, the Lakers will resume action on Friday night when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves.
