NBA Fans React To Russell Westbrook

@TheWestWolfPod: “Russell westbrook did not play any preason games. Had about 3 days of practice. His jumpshot being short every time should have been expected. But the speed. Chase down block. Hustle plays for extra possessions are all important. The shot and shot creation for others will come.”

@ninersplswin: “Russell Westbrook through 4 minutes has shown more effort than any Kings player I’ve ever seen”

@Spe81558890Lyle: “Best story you’ll never read or see is how impactful Russell Westbrook has been on young teammates throughout his storied #NBA career. Media hatred has been pervasive, blackballing an all-time great. Casual fans have no idea. #SacKings”

@myke_millionz: “Russell Westbrook can not play basketball.”

@itsabestill: They laughed at the Kings for signing Russell Westbrook but he might be the best thing to happen to the young guys on the Kings right now”

@JackBDann: “Some teams get to have Wembanyama and I have to question whether Russell Westbrook is the answer to the Kings’ rebounding issues”

@James_HamNBA: “7. Rusty Russ. Russell Westbrook was hanging out at home until late last week. He had a few moments in his first game in a Kings uniform, but overall, he looked rusty. The future hall of famer finished with 6 points on 2-for-8 shooting and added 6 rebounds.”

@OfficalWestgoat: “I get it but there’s nothing that pains me more when Russ doesn’t play 4th quarter it’s so hard to watch”

The Kings will play their next game on Friday night when they host the Utah Jazz.

Westbrook has also spent time playing for the OKC Thunder, Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers, LA Clippers and Denver Nuggets.

He won the 2017 MVP Award with the Thunder.
