(Kron) – The authorities announced on Monday that a Virginia man had been arrested last week in terms of sexual assault that occurred more than 10 years ago in Naba Province.
Napa Sharif County Office said that Kyle Joseph Robinson, 37, from Luisza, Virginia, accused of raping a woman who was visiting the Yongville area to attend a wedding in May 2015. The victim was staying in a house with a group of her college friends.
In a report to the Sharif office, the victim told the authorities that she was sexually assaulted by an unknown suspect inside the housing. NCSO said that the man who was initially suspected of rape was acquitted by the DNA test.
Sharif’s office said that the additional DNA test that was conducted after years of sexual assault led to success in a profile belonging to Robinson. Robinson, according to the authorities, was one of the guests staying at the Yongville home during the wedding.
Investigators at the Sharif office traveled to Virginia and arrested Robinson at his home with the help of the Louisa Province Office.
