Gauff Admits to Overcoming the Chances of Regrets After Her French Open Win

After lifting the glorious French Open trophy, Gauff revealed that winning the title had been a lifelong dream. She mentioned how there was always a feeling of confidence to clinch the title as she found herself worthy of it. This triumph, she said, saved her from a lifetime of regret, as the dream had always lingered in the back of her mind.

“I felt like this one I really wanted. When I was younger, I felt I had the best shot of winning this tournament. If I went through my career and didn’t get at least one of these, I would have felt regrets. I remembered trying to take it all in and feel like I wanted that experience for myself,” she said, as reported by TOI.

Despite skipping the Queen’s Club Championship, Coco Gauff is expected to compete at the grass-court championship in Berlin, followed by Wimbledon.
