‘My 5-year-old thinks Dad’s still at work’: ICE targets West Los Angeles car washes

Sad families speak after videos captured dozens of car washing workers, and at least one customer are being held in Immigration and Customs raids (ICE) in West Los Angeles during the weekend.

The video posted on social media, Brian Vasquez, showed that he screams in border border agents, as they took his father in reservation during the weekend at the end of the weekend in Colver.

“He has just grabbed him, and I told him that he promised me not to sign anything, and to see him very soon,” said tear teenager in Sandra Mitchell.

On Sunday morning, 48 -year -old Arturo Vasquez was arrested while visiting Culver City with his family as a customer, according to their loved ones.

Brian said: “I promised him that I would take care of my brothers and mother, and that he should not worry about anything.”

Family members said that Arturo is not documented but has no criminal record.

Nuimi Seo, another resident of West Los Angeles, told KTLA that her husband was working in Westchester Hand Wash for a decade and was detained on the same day.

“They went, everyone went,” she said. “I contacted a couple who confirmed that he was transferred.”

Ciau said that she is deeply missing her husband and struggling to explain the situation for the four couple children.

“My five -year -old thinks that my father is still at work.” “My 10 -year -old country understands what is going on.”

While she was aware that the immigration application under the Trump administration was rising, Ciau said she had never imagined that her family would not be targeted.

She said, “I just want to know where he is, if he is fine, and of course I want him to go home.”

As of Monday night, these families said they had not heard or managed to reach their loved ones who were reserved during the weekend.
