Multi-day heat event begins Friday for northeastern Colorado, Denver metro

The national weather service has provided possibility for Friday and Saturday, which shows any cities that have the highest opportunities to reach more than 100 degrees.

NWS says that Akron, Fort Morgan, Greley and JULESBURG have more than 80 % the possibility of reaching 100 degrees or more, while lemon and buller have less than 15 % the possibility of reaching the same heat.

Meanwhile, Denver has 60 % to reach more than 100 degrees on Friday and the same opportunity to reach the same temperature on Saturday.

NWS warned that there may be strong winds from Friday to Sunday, which may lead to critical weather conditions in some areas. On Sunday, although it is less hot, it is still expected to reach the middle to the top up.
