Mountain lion sighting in Solano County

(Krona) – The Fairfield Police Administration said that the mountain lion was captured wandering in the Fairfield neighborhood at 2 am on Monday.

Pictures of the big cat were taken on a security camera for the resident.

“A citizen on Orchid Street contacted the police today to notify us of a strange visitor late at night/early in the morning – which either clearly ignoring the” non -seam “sign, or had a serious desire to form new friendships.”

Local animals, the Ministry of Fish and Wildlife in California were notified of the vision. The authorities ask the public to pay close attention to the pets and avoid any conflicts with the lion of the mountain.

“Please pay special attention to the outdoor pets, refrain from chasing, and try to take pictures of the animal, or their hostility in another way if seen,” wrote the Fairfield Police Department. “Since this is a wild animal, there is a strong possibility that it will return or have already returned to the hills where it came from.”

The authorities ask the public not to report any additional views in the mountain lion in the area unless the cat is acting in a way that threatens public safety.
