A motorcycle driver was killed and his passenger was taken to hospital after crashing in Long Beach.
On July 3, the Long Beach police responded to the crossing of Downey and South Street Street shortly before 9:30 pm
A preliminary investigation revealed that the motorcycle driver was traveling west on South Street towards Downey Street with a passenger.
Police said Toyota 4Runner was heading to the left when the motorcycle was shattered.
Both motorcyclists have been expelled from the bike. The officers who arrived at the scene of the accident found a man lying on the corridors of Downey Street in the south and a woman lying on the nearby sidewalk.
The man, Jonathon Bouras, 20, from Long Beach, announced his death at the scene. The woman, whose identity has not been determined, was transferred to the hospital and was treated for her injuries.
Toyota driver cooperates with the investigation. At this time, the police said that the speed and dispersed leadership may be possible factors in the accident.
