(Krona) – Morgan Hill has now been canceled after the US State Department has canceled “Los Alexres Del Barranco” headlines.
The Trump administration says that band’s music is constructed by Mexican classics.
Los Alexres Del Barranco was supposed to take a multiple months in the United States with his first stop at Rancho Grande de Morgan Hill.
“We had an event on April 27,” the co -owner Hugo Cenice. “Unfortunately, two weeks ago, we received a notice. We have heard from the promoters that it would be canceled. We don’t know what was happening, so he was canceling our offer because of it.”
The band was subjected to fire because some of their songs talk about the cartel. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau posted on X, previously on Twitter, that due to this work, the business and tourist visas are canceled.
SENCION says they have a wrong idea. “[The album] Corridos is a story I think. This is what they are doing, and a story of a story about the carts in Mexico. “
Dr. Nathaan Saya Rodriguez of San Diego State University specializes in Latin America and digital media studies. He says that the band does not glorify the cartals, but rather talks about reality.
“When they sing about Narcos, it comes to warnings,” says Dr. Rodriguez. “I have lived experiences in art. We see this in movies and poems.”
Dr. Rodriguez added: “Teams like those do not constitute any bad effect,” added Dr. Rodriguez. “It comes to telling the stories they do … the songs that you sang are not only” Grupos “like this, but musicians around the world. It is all about telling stories.”
