RHOSLC Pauses Production After Death of Mary Cosby’s Son Robert Cosby Jr.
Mary Cosby is honoring her late son Robert Cosby Jr.
Days after the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star’s son died Feb. 23, she shared a heartbreaking tribute to the late 23-year-old.
“#godfirst #love #forever,” Mary—who shared Robert Jr. with Robert Cosby Sr.—captioned a throwback photo of the pair on Instagram Feb. 28. “I’m Going to miss you bubs.”
In the sweet snap, which the Bravo star posted alongside Jessica Mauboy’s “Time After Time,” the mother-son duo can be seen smiling for the camera.
Robert Jr. was found dead on Feb. 23 after officers “responded to a possible overdose,” a spokesperson for the Salt Lake City Police Department told E! News. The medical examiner is still investigating the cause of death.
Two days later, Mary, 53, confirmed his passing.
“Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord,” Mary said in a Feb. 25 statement to TMZ. “Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”
