Margaret Josephs is showing fans exactly what recovery looks like after a cosmetic tweak, and she’s not hiding the bruises.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 58, recently shared a series of graphic post-surgery photos on Instagram after undergoing what she describes as a “nasal rejuvenation.” In more straightforward terms, Josephs got a nose job, along with a fat transfer and stem cell therapy.
The “after” images show the reality star wearing a nasal cast with deep bruising under both eyes and along her jawline. In typical Margaret fashion, she leaned into the moment with humor.
“I’ve got some balls to walk around Beverly Hills like this,” she wrote on one mirror selfie, adding a laughing emoji.

Another image included the caption: “Scaring children at the pool.”
While Josephs joked about the dramatic recovery photos, she insists the procedure was actually meant to be subtle.
“No one wants a droopy tip… some might call it a rhinoplasty, I call it a ‘nasal rejuvenation,’” she wrote.
According to Josephs, the decision came after she began noticing changes in her nose as she got older.
“As I got older my tip started to droop as I smiled and I was really unhappy about it. When I was younger I never disliked my nose and could never imagine doing a nose job but with age the cartilage in my nose didn’t support my tip and it emphasized a slight bump in my nose also.”

She said the issue became impossible to ignore once she started seeing it in photos.
“Every photo of me I really noticed it and it bothered me.”
To make the adjustment, Josephs visited Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie for what she described as a “slight tweak.”
The RHONJ star believes the change is subtle enough that people may not even realize exactly what’s different.
“Now my face so perfectly and no one can quite put their finger on why… not even my family members!” she wrote.
“I am a huge advocate for doing what makes YOU happy and feel your best. Thank you Dr. Motykie for this subtle upgrade, it made such a huge difference to me.”
Josephs later revealed that the decision was partly influenced by changes she noticed after losing weight while using GLP-1 medications.
In an interview with NewBeauty, she explained that the rapid weight loss altered the appearance of her face.
“I was one of the first to go on a GLP-1,” she said.
She also began noticing something unusual happening with her nose.
“I started noticing in all my photos that the tip of my nose was drooping, and I was like, what is going on? I don’t know if it was because I lost weight, or whatever it was, but my nose tip was drooping. It was looking crazy.”
Rapid weight loss from GLP-1 medications has been linked to facial fat loss, sometimes referred to as “Ozempic face,” which can change overall facial structure.
