Del Valle Isd, who had the highest salary level throughout the past two academic year, has not released the salary schedule for the new year.
Many KXAN regions have been told that it is awaiting more directives from the Texas Education Agency about the impact of the Law of Law 2 before setting new salaries. When asked in mid -June, a KXan tea spokesman told that they were still in the evaluation process and have no information to pass it at the time. Many areas said they expect new salaries to confirm in July or August.
Round Rock ISD has the second highest starting salary announced so far -56,750, an increase of 0.4 % over the academic year 2024-25. Eanes ISD also offers a salary of at least $ 56,000.
Jarrell ISD, Marble Falls ISD, Rockdale ISD and ISD offer at least $ 50,000 to new teachers without experience. Among the areas that have set budgets so far, only one will offer less than $ 50,000. Prairie Lea ISD offers a basic salary of $ 49,100.

Rachelland Springs historically used the minimum state, but it remains to see whether it will continue to do so in the new academic year.
What are the areas that have increased more than this year?
Among the regions that announced the salaries of the academic year 2025-26, only two of the salaries of new teachers who have no experience compared to last year.
Marble Falls ISD increased more than others, with a 2.8 % increase in the start salary. A new teacher will get $ 52100, up from $ 50,700 in the previous academic year. Round Rock ISD Increase 0.4 % start salaries.
It did not exceed six areas of starting salaries for the new academic year: Eanes ISD, Jarrell ISD, Leander ISD, Lulling ISD, Prairie Lea Isd and Rockdale ISD.
How will the Law of Law of Home 2 affect salaries?
This year, the state lawmakers approved a school financing package signed in the law by the governor of the state, Greg Abbott, in early June. It creates a $ 8.5 billion invoice, known as House Bill 2, new buckets of money for public schools to spend on specific initiatives.
About half of these funds – $ 4.2 billion – allocated to increase teachers ’salaries, in some cases up to $ 8,000. The exact amount of “allocating to keep teachers” is determined by the number of students enrolled in the region and the number of years of experience enjoyed by teachers.
The allocations are not allocated until the teacher has at least three years of experience, which means that starting salaries for new teachers will not change from last year unless the individual areas choose to do so.
