Austin – Highland lakes are common for boats, but periodic droughts and floods may make things difficult at times.
Boat stairs are often closed if the water level decreases very low, and lakes are often closed in front of the entertainment boats during severe floods, according to the Lower Colorado River power.
Below is a look at the public boat stairs is currently open and closed:

- Currently a boat slope at Tournament Point at Pace Bend Park Open
