Man who allegedly provided alcohol to minors at closed Estes Park bar turns self in

KDVR – A man who wanted to provide alcohol to minors at an closed company at Estes Park and failed to register as a sexual crime that surrendered to the police.

Last week, the Ests Park police administration asked the public to contact the law enforcement if anyone knows where David Morales, 44, is located.

On Tuesday, Morales handed himself over to the Laimer County Prison, The police department said on Wednesday in a Facebook post.

The investigation began in February after a report claiming to have held a party in the Twisted Griffin Piece and Restaurant, located on 247 W. Elkhorn Ave, which was permanently closed at the time. The report claimed that Morales was serving alcohol for minors.

The police department said that 14 victims were identified without the legal age and conducted an interview with it throughout the investigation.

The police said that the investigation also revealed that Morales failed to register as a sexual crime as required by Colorado Lu, after moving from Estis Park after the alleged accident.

The orders of the last week included his arrest on charges:

  • Not registering as a perpetrator of sexual crimes – F5 (Attmament)
  • Contributing to a minor delinquency – M1 (9 charges)
  • Illegal works – M2 (5 charges)

The police department said on Wednesday that Morales were held in the Laimer County Prison and that the Laimer Provincial Court was charged with bonds of $ 15,000.
