Aurora, Colorado (KDVR) – The suspect was arrested by the Aurora Police Department in the 2024 shooting case after he ended up chasing a truck of the suspect in a trench.
According to the Aurora Police Department, in June 2024, Juan Ayala Oruza, 23, and Randi Alcala, 24, shot each other near East Colfax Street and Airport Street.
Alcala was arrested a few days after the 2024 incident, but it was not until Tuesday that the fugitive and fugitive unit was located in Ayala Orroza in a storage unit near East 40th Avenue and Chambers Road, according to APD.
The officers in the unit went to the area where Ayala Oruza was, and he claimed that he set out in a truck to Denver.
In the APD CAM video, you can see a truck jumping on the sidewalks and weaving through thick traffic on the 70th highway.
The officers later conducted a hole maneuver to rotate the truck, and rolled it into a flood keeping.
APD said that Ayala Oruza “is now facing his original attempt to kill as well as new charges to see our officers.”
