Man involved in shooting of former Broncos player pleaded guilty

KDVR – A man who was involved in the fire that had a former player in Denver Broncos in 2024 acknowledged that he is guilty, According to the participation of X from the Denver County Lawyer Office on Thursday.

The man, Port Charlesworth, is one of nine people accused of being involved in the shooting.

Charlesworth acknowledged that he was guilty of a first -class plot to commit the attack.

The shipment stems from a gunfire on the southern highway 25 near the 4800 mass of South Kepik Street at 3:12 am on October 18, 2024.

Denver Police said that the beginning of the accident started at the Al -Taraa Club at 490 S. Colorado Blvd.

One of the suspects in the shooting, Luis Mendoza, entered the club and stayed there until the victims, including former Bronco player Josh Reynolds and two friends, entered the club.

A written certificate stated that “Mindoza did not act as expected for a sponsor of a nudity club. He did not participate with the artists, but sat in the club and witnessed the victims.”

According to the written statement, Charlesworth told the police that he was driving his black truck during the accident, “because he was helping a friend who asked him to follow the victims.”

Denver police said Reynolds and his friends were traveling south on I-25 when the shooting occurred. The victims eventually stopped the I-25 shoulder north of BelleView Street and escaped from their car.

Two were taken to the hospital, where one of them was shot in the left arm and his head appeared, while the other was shot in the back. Each of these two victims was considered an indescribable life injury. The third victim was a glass in his hand.

Charlesworth told the police that he was not one of the people who were shooting, and the shots came from other vehicles, which the police say he refused to describe.

Charlesworth was arrested on October 19, and Mendoza was arrested three days later on October 22. Two months later, the third suspect, Daniel Olivarerez, was arrested with regard to fire.

Reynolds was eventually waived by Bronko on December 3, 2024. It was claimed by Jacksonville Jaguars, but was released on March 6. A few weeks later, on March 27, signed a one -year contract with Jets Jets, where he is still playing.
