A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after his car hit a passenger train in Orange Thursday evening.
Orange Police responded to the accident at the intersection of Glassel Street and Tafat Street at 7:02 pm
The driver, who was only identified as a 66 -year -old Garden Garden Garden, was driving cars for tourist cars when the witnesses saw the railway arms cross.
The police said that the man continued to travel forward and went to the lit safety barriers, where the next train collided with his car.
A picture of the scene showed that the SUV jeep was collected due to the effect. The driver asked to get rid of firefighters in Orange City before he was transferred to the hospital in critical condition.
The authorities said: “At this time, it is not known whether drugs or alcohol are a contributing factor in the collision.”
No other injuries to passers -by or train passengers were reported.
