Man dies after inflatable kayak capsizes in Arkansas River

KDVR-A 35-year-old man died after kayak boats turned and became aware of the Arkansas River near Boya Vista on Friday afternoon.

Colorado Parks and wildlife said that an invitation to send Shafi district at about 3:15 pm after two of the private sects in the bombable boats touched their craftsmen.

Watermers said that both kayak boats have the appropriate safety equipment for this section of white water, including dry suits, personal float devices and helmets.

The water was 52 degrees, and the river was running at 1780 cubic feet per second. Witters said that people should check the conditions by contacting the entertainment area office before entering the river, or thinking about using a commercial rowing company if it is unfamiliar to the region or conditions.
