Man arrested for threatening attack at Bay Area church, sheriff's office says

(Krona) – A man in the Gulf region was arrested on Friday by threatening him to attack someone at the next church event in Melipay.

San Matteo County County Office began investigating alleged threats at 8:40 am on Friday, and the suspect has determined that he was 50 -year -old Alexei Kadi from Palmont. Using social media, it was claimed that El Kadi threatened to attack a specific person during an event scheduled for August 31 in the Lady of Lady Church on 600 of El Camino Real in Millbrae.

“The investigation started after one of the relevant residents reported a publication on social media by the Kadi, who presented specific criminal threats against a member of the Church of the Lady of Lebanon,” said the San Matteo County Office. “The advanced individual also stated that Al -Kadi had a history of harassment towards an organizer in the church, which led to the constant fear and anxiety of the safety of the attendees.”

Representatives were arrested in his house. Officials have placed a restriction of armed violence on the Kadi, and prohibiting it to own or use a pistol.

EL Kadi was booked at the Maguire Correctional facility on charges of criminal threats. It is held on bail of $ 50,000. The investigation is continuing.

“The threats against anyone who represents a place of worship is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in San Matteo County,” Sherif Corpus in San Matteo Province said in a statement. “I am grateful to a member of the community who warned our office, which allowed us to quickly take the suspected and maintain the safe community.”
