Officials announced on Saturday for killing the cold case to kill a teenager in the Cathedral city in 2019.
The alleged killing occurred in La Quinta on October 26, 2019, according to the Sharif Department of Riferside, inside a house on the 53,000 Avenida Madero bloc.
Representatives were called to stay at 12:03 am for a report of assault with a fatal weapon, and upon his arrival, Anthony Carillo, 19, found several gunshots inside the house. He was transferred to a local hospital, where he announced his death.
The central killing unit reached the investigation, but the suspect had already escaped from the scene.
Unfortunately, after several years of the investigation, the case became cold without any strings for arrest, “which detailed the release of the Ministry of Sharif.
However, investigators began a review later, during which they found additional evidence and information that led them to reopen the case. The suspect was then identified as Jorge Huerta Arias, a 24 -year -old man from White Water.
The Ministry of Sherif said that the authorities arrested Hyrta Arias on Friday, June 13th, for his involvement in the 2019 incident and his reservation at the COIS BYRD detention center for killing.
“This investigation is continuing, and no other information will be issued at this time,” the department said.
