Man accused of stealing truck with sleeping victim inside, leading deputies on destructive pursuit

A suspect was arrested by the alleged truck stealing with a sleeping victim at home and the leadership of deputies in a devastating chase in San Bernardino Province.

The suspect was identified as the age of Hernandez, 49, from Linwood, according to Victor Valley Sharif.

On July 23, the deputies responded to an invitation to help after he informed the victim that the suspect had been arrested with his truck while he was still asleep in the attached vehicle at about 6:30 pm

With the help of the airline unit in Sharif, they identified the truck and the stolen kramir at the intersection of the 395 highway and the SEECA ROAD in Adlanto.

When the deputies tried to withdraw Hernandez, he claimed that he refused the return, and led the authorities to chase. During the chase, it was crashed into four other vehicles. He eventually abandoned the truck and fled on foot, but was quickly arrested by the deputies.

He was detained for kidnapping, stealing the car and not returning. The victim was located in the attached vehicle and was not polished.

No more details were released as the accident is still under investigation.
