On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are playing the Phoenix Suns (in Arizona).

Luka Doncic is making his 2025-26 NBA preseason debut.

The superstar forward wasted no time, as he had a highlight that went viral during the first quarter.

Doncic spent the first six and a half seasons of his career playing for the Dallas Mavericks before getting traded to the Lakers during the middle of last year.

He finished his 28-game stint with the Lakers averaging 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 43.8% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point range.

Despite a strong start to his Lakers career, Doncic and the team lost to Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs (in just five games).

They will play their first game of the new season on October 21 when they host Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors in Los Angeles, California.
