If you are looking for some fun in the Los Angeles Province gardens this summer, budget discounts may limit your options.
Starting June 30, six regional gardens will be Closed on Monday and Tuesday:

- Frank J. Bonley
- Kenneth Han
- Peter F. Shaparum
- Santa Dam in
- Yatir is narrowing
Lakes in these gardens will be closed to hunting, swimming and riding on Mondays and Tuesday as well.
In addition, swimming pools will be open only for 11 weeks – not 23 weeks – this summer. They will now close on August 16.
These changes and others are required due to budget discounts.
“While federal, city, city, and local governments face budget discounts, Los Angeles Province departments, including Los Angeles Province Gardens,” said Garcia-Gonzalez. “Specifically, Los Angeles Provincial Gardens face a major budget reduction of $ 22.2 million. To address this large budget reduction, we have taken some difficult decisions but needed to continue overseeing gardens and provide basic and safety programs that depend on our youth, our families, our societies and our societies.”
