Longhorns fans enjoyed autographs, access even without spring football game

Austin (KXAN) – The spring practices of Texas longhorns did not end, but the fans still appreciate it.

Instead of a white orange quarrel to be crowned with a period of football in the spring, the program put a day full of special occasions with a Friday experience for the fans on Saturday at the DKR-TEXAS Memorial Stadium.

While some fans with whom KXan spoke were very disappointed, they were unable to see their favorite players such as Arch Manning or Anthony Hill JR.

One of the fans said: “I liked to see the Orange-LHite game and the talent we bring, but in both cases, I am fine.” “It is great. We must be with the team, talking to them a little, we must be on the field … it was a great day.”

The event started at nine in the morning, and the fans arrived there early to take advantage of the sale of large clothes, Bevo Boulevard, Smokey’s Midway Carlival, and the usual Gameday experience. Children got exercises similar to NFL style, and fans had photography opportunities with Tick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Trophy, along with the main coach Steve Sarkissian.

Sarkissian decided against the spring match this season for several reasons, one of which is the length of the season with the coordination of a football playmate at the expanded college. He wants to reduce erosion for players who go to autumn camps, but he also wants to make sure that his younger players get what is necessary to be a university football player.

“I have 27 new faces on my list I need to spend time developing,” he said. “This development begins at the beginning of the spring ball to understand the reason we do things.”

The program received 12 record players who were captured in the 2025 US Football Association draft, which ended on Saturday. At least one player was chosen in all seven rounds, where Kelvin Banks JR. In the No. 9 to New ORLEANS SAINTS and Legartback Quinn Eivers go to Miami Dolphins in the last round.
