Long Island Kevin McMahon discovers he was switched at birth at Jamaica Hospital after sister takes Ancestry.com DNA test

New York — A man in Long Island grew up with a suspicion throughout his life that something was not true … maybe he was not in the right family. Then, his sister took the DNA test, and those doubts turned into the truth … he accidentally turned at birth.

Kevin McMahon said: “My brothers, as you know, were a child or such things,” said Kevin McMahon. “It was just a note, like it does not look like us.”

McMahon’s younger siblings were fair, and they had straight solid hair, blue eyes and freckles. McMahon did not have any of these features.

“If this day happens, my parents would have gone home from the hospital and said:” This child is completely different from us, “they will start interrogating her immediately.”

It was in May 1960, at Jamaica Hospital, when Kevin McMahon issued a birth certificate ending in 2710.

Ross McMahon was born in hours, with his birth certificate ended in 2711.

Babies are replaced at birth. McMahon is now suing Jamaica Hospital.

“They are completely responsible,” McMahon said. “They made one mistake, and this changed the course of my entire life.”

Jamaica Hospital refused to comment.

Lawyer Jeremy Xiits said: “They are two Caucasian nations holding the same last name, in the thirties of the ages, who gave birth to young children in the same hospital on the same day within two hours of each other,” said lawyer Jeremy Xiietz.

McMahon, who was filmed on the left in the picture below, discovered when his sister Carroll received the results of Ancestry.com, which revealed an unknown biological brother.

The brother who stands beside Carroll is Ross, and the other child McMahon turned at birth.

Ross really Kevin, Kevin is really Ross.

“She was very afraid, and very concerned about my news,” said Kevin McMahon when his sister told him. “When you told me, I couldn’t process information, I like, I don’t feel anything. Like, frankly, I have no feelings here. I think I was shocking at that point.”

CECE MORE is a genetic genealogist at Parabon Nanolabs, and it has been shown to “find your roots” on PBS, and the ABC series “Genetic Investigator”.

She says she saw dozens of cases such as these in the United States

She said: “It is very sad to see many surprises like these by testing the direct DNA of the consumer.”

For Kevin McMahon, he answers the long question about the reason he always felt that he was treated differently from his brothers.

“You know, even with this knowledge, it seems that it is too late for me,” he said. “Nothing changes. It does not change the insecurity.”
