Livermore man arrested by ICE agents as family, protestors demand action

(Kron) – The Levermore family is looking for answers after they said that their father and their husband were arrested by ice agents last week in San Francisco and they are now facing deportation.

Dozens of people joined the family in a major protest on Wednesday evening in Levermor, calling on the federal government to send Miguel Lopez to his family.

Family members told Kron4 that Lopez lived in Livermore for years while working in a local generosity. They say Lopez was illegally held while working on his nationality.

Miguel’s wife, Rosa Lopez, says most of the demonstrators in the demonstration know Miguel.

“He called me to tell me to call his lawyer and that he was detained,” Lopez recalls. “It has collapsed. I couldn’t believe it, and that we will not see it or return to the house. If you are going to get to know Miguel, you will be his friend immediately. He is a man who works hard. A beloved husband and father found.”

Local teacher Petsi Wilson, who organized the protest, is currently aware of the younger son of Miguel.

Wilson says: “The regime is broken, and he tried, and he was following the rules and doing everything that the rulers asked him to do, and continue to run at road barriers.” “Miguel is working in many long hours to provide his family. A grandfather and his amazing wife for his family. He is not the type of the person to be sent away. He needs to be with his family.”

With cars entering support, demonstrators believe it may be an arduous battle. There were reports of the arrest of the ice in San Jose, and the ice agents who were holding people outside the immigration courts in San Francisco.

“There is not much that we can do these days, and this is something we can do,” Wilson added.

Currently, Rosa designs that she will bring her husband home.

“[I told him] “I loved him, to be patient and to promise you to bring him home,” says Lopez.

Kron4 has arrived at local Ice officials to comment on this particular detention, but we have not heard in time for this report.
