LIVE: Kristen's Classroom: One-on-one with a storm chaser

Austin-The storm chase is members of the weather community, as they provide a perspective on the ground from dangerous storms of all kinds. These trained highlights can provide high -end information for life with eyewitnesses.

I had the opportunity to speak with Gabi Cox, meteorological world, a veteran storm chase and a member of the KXAN First Weather.

Cox has gone through some of the worst worst, including Hurricane 5 Michael (2008), Hurricane Ida (2021), Hurricane Laura (2020), and Hurricane Harvey (2017).

He was also in the right place at the right time to seize many hurricanes, including the Granger that occurred during the outbreak of Tornado in central Texas in March 2022. It was also on the ground for hurricanes that occurred in Brezz, Keelin, Waku.

COX works in dozens of television programming, including Netflix’s EarthstormWeather channel Virusian weather BBC The most weather in the world.

Since 2011, Cox has documented everything from hurricanes to hurricanes. He recently established a podcast to talk about life behind the lens, went in the depths of these storms and giving listeners a direct account of what looks like seeing these brutal forces closely.
