NEXSTAR – Located lawmakers will meet on Wednesday morning in the first hearing of the joint committees on preparing for disasters and floods. Senators and 18 representatives will hear a certificate invited about the state’s response and its preparation for the destructive floods of independence in central Texas, which killed more than 130 people.
The committees, headed by Representative Ken King, and R-Konadi, in the House of Representatives, and the Senator Charles Perry, R-Lubbock, in the Senate, in response to the invitation of the governor of the state, Greg Abbott, to address emergency warning systems and flood relief in his own announcement. Some legislation has already been presented, with more on the way.
The first session of the State Fluids Response Committee will discuss, prepare for disasters in the state in general, flooding and infrastructure planning, river authority operations in “Flash Flood Ally” and First Responder Communications during disasters.

The committee will meet at 9 am in the Capitol in the E1.030 meeting. No public certificate will be allowed in this session, but a second session will be held in Kurville on July 31, while allowing the general population certificate to talk about their experience.
