NEXSTAR – The Committee for the Joint Selection on Disaster and Fluids will meet on Thursday in Kerrville, Texas – deadly floods site on Independence Day – for the second time to hear a certificate about and after the preparation of floods.
Last week, legislators heard hours of certificate invited from state officials and other experts invited to understand what can be improved. The legislature is currently working in a special session, charged with updating flood warning systems and passing a disaster relief pack.
The session begins at 9:30 am at the Hill Control Youth Center in Kurville. You can watch the direct broadcast of the session in the video player above.
The committee hears the guests invited, as well as the members of the public for the first time. Similar to the first session, there will be five invited certificate boards.

The committee will also hear from meteorological experts as well as local mental health leaders.
