It’s been years since Lisa Vanderpump exited The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but the drama surrounding her departure and fractured friendships still lingers—especially when it comes to Dorit and PK Kemsley.
In a candid April 2025 appearance on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast, Lisa Vanderpump addressed where she stands with Dorit’s now-estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley. Surprisingly, she revealed she hasn’t spoken to PK since leaving the show in 2019. Yet, she made it clear that there’s no lingering bitterness on her end.
“There will always be room in my heart for PK; he was my friend,” Vanderpump said. “Not a great friend, not a very close friend, but we were in the same circle in Europe. So, yeah. I would definitely like to have a conversation with him … I think he’s a great guy. So, yeah, I would enjoy reconnecting with him at some point.”
The Kemsleys announced their separation in May 2024 after nine years of marriage. Since then, Vanderpump’s relationship with Dorit remains virtually nonexistent. “I knew her more because of PK,” she said, hinting that her bond with Dorit was always more circumstantial than genuine friendship.
Lisa Vanderpump also didn’t hold back when reflecting on the couple’s breakup. On Watch What Happens Live, she admitted that the split didn’t surprise her. “They weren’t being honest on the show, and PK was living in a hotel,” she claimed, citing information she received through mutual friends.
However, things seem more personal when it comes to Dorit. Vanderpump pushed back on Dorit’s alleged claims about PK’s parenting, saying, “It is not okay with me that Dorit Kemsley said PK was a bad father.”
The animosity between Vanderpump and Dorit stretches back to the infamous “Puppygate” scandal, a drama that rocked RHOBH five years ago. The incident led to the end of their friendship after Vanderpump was accused of leaking stories to the tabloids about the Kemsleys’ adopted dog being returned to a shelter.
With PK and Dorit’s marriage officially over and Vanderpump hinting at a willingness to reconnect with PK, only time will tell if a reconciliation is in the cards—or if the wounds from RHOBH are just too deep.
