She was surrounded by diva behavior on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — but Lisa Rinna says she has starred alongside a more unbearable costar.
In her new book, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, the 62-year-old insisted by far her worst working experience was in the early 1990s on the set of Days of Our Lives.
Rinna, who starred as Billie Reed in the soap opera, insisted Robert Kelker-Kelly, who played her on-screen love interest Bo Brady, was horrific to work with.
“Behind-the-scenes we hated each other,” the Melrose Place alum wrote in the book, the Daily Mail reported a Wednesday, February 25.
“Remember when Kathy Hilton said I was the biggest bully in Hollywood? Not true. Not even close! I have legit stories about the real bullies in this town. Robert Kelker-Kelly is one of those bullies,” she added.
“He made my life a living hell on the set of Days. He was horrible to me,” the Traitors contestant wrote. “I’d go so far as to say verbally abusive. He was passive aggressive, manipulative, and played weird mind games.”
“I had to work with him every day, often half naked to do love scenes. If I didn’t do what he wanted, he’d give me the silent treatment,” the actress continued. “He was a ticking time bomb. I never knew when I arrived on set each morning if I’d get nice Robert Kelker-Kelly or dark Robert Kelker-Kelly. He was unpredictable and it was exhausting.”
Rinna starred on the show from 1992 until September 1995, before quitting and being replaced by Krista Allen. She returned to the role from 2002 to 2003, 2012 to 2013 and again in 2018.
Kelker-Kelly also starred in the soap for a similar time period from 1992 until 1995 but left several months before Rinna. He later played Stavros Cassadine on General Hospital from 2001 to 2003 and 2013 to 2014.
