After a surprising first-round exit at the 2026 Australian Open, Fernandez competed at the Abu Dhabi Open and reached the second round before suffering a loss to McCartney Kessler. The Canadian will be back in action at the Qatar Open, taking on Ann Li in her opening match. She recently attended the star-studded players’ party in Doha alongside Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, Elena Rybakina, and Iga Świątek, among others.

Auger-Aliassime also had a disappointing outing at the Melbourne Slam since an unexpected injury to his leg forced him to retire from his opening match. However, the 25-year-old has bounced back strongly as the defending champion at the Open Occitanie in Montpellier. He is set to take on Adrian Mannarino in the final of the ATP 250 event.
Following the championship match, Auger Aliassime will join the likes of Alex de Minaur and Daniil Medvedev at the Rotterdam Open. He will lock horns with Alexei Popyrin in the first round of the event.
